Meredith College will serve as host to the inaugural Sir Walter Miler on Friday, August 1, at 9 p.m. Twenty elite runners will convene under the lights at Meredith's premiere track venue to attempt to break the sub-four-minute mile, or sub-four-and-one-half-minute for women, barrier.
